Lucy Regent is an award-winning British writer, performer and director with over a decade’s worth of experience. She is part-comedian, part-history buff, and tends to focus on writing comedies and historical dramas—especially true stories that have been lost in time. Her first pilot swept prizes across the film festival circuit in 2022/2023. She currently has two shows in development and has been featured by The Reel Women and The British Comedy Guide Pro. She was recently selected for both the Female Pilot Club Writing Competition and the 2025 Funny Women x BBC Funny Parts Studio Writing Award. She is also the co-host of the podcast, Big Little Interests, set for release in June 2026 and is a member of both Directors UK and the Writers' Guild of Great Britain.
